Stephanie W. Young
Senior Vice President, Operations
Stephanie Young has held a variety of executive roles during her 26 years with The Walt Disney Company. She is a highly-committed leader who has a track record of enabling operational excellence while driving strategies that produce strong financial results. As senior vice president of Operations for the Disneyland Resort, Stephanie is responsible for leadership and integration of all aspects of the guest and cast experience across the resort, including the attractions, entertainment, retail, food and beverage, lodging and resort development teams.
In her prior role, Stephanie led the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Revenue Management & Analytics team, where she was successful in developing and leading commercial strategies that drove profitable visitation across all Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. Prior to that, Stephanie led Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Technology, where she strengthened the organization and drove critical alignment between the segment’s business and technology initiatives.
Stephanie also served as chief financial officer of the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, where she was responsible for finance, controllership, treasury, alliances and technology. She worked directly with the Hong Kong government and financial community on a capital realignment plan that enabled a significant expansion of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.
Stephanie holds a degree in Accounting and Financial Services from Baylor University. She is an advocate for diversity and inclusion and serves as an executive leader on an integrated task team that is expanding women’s resource groups to advance gender inclusion. She served on several community boards including the Central Florida Commission on Homelessness, as well as Baylor University’s Business School Advisory Board. Stephanie was recently the recipient of Women Worth Watching award from Profiles in Diversity Journal. Stephanie and her husband, Tim, have two sons, Austin and Tyler.
