Nearly 1,500 Boys & Girls Clubs around thecountry, including Anaheim, Garden Grove andWestminster locations, are participating in a new Summer Brain Gain program, launched by Boys & Girls Clubs of America and supported by Disney. The summer-long program helps prevent summer learning loss by providing activities promoting creativity and communication to elementary, middle and high school students, helping them stay on track for the coming school year.
Disney funded and developed curriculum for the elementary and middle school modules, including activities such as “Bio Motion” and “Bug Off!,” where youth can explore how living things navigate their environments and examine diversity in the insect world.
