In the spirit of Día de los Muertos at Disney California Adventure, the Disneyland Resort invited families from Big Brothers Big Sisters, Project Access and Anaheim Union High School District’s Advancement Via Independent Development (AVID) program to enjoy Plaza de la Familia. Disneyland Resort Diversity Resource Group, Hispanic Organization for Leadership Advancement and Allies (HOLA), led families through Plaza de la Familia which celebrates loved ones who have passed, and honors the familial bonds that last forever.
Guests experienced special entertainment, interactive activities and food in celebration of family, and new Halloween decorations and elements inspired by the upcoming Disney•Pixar animated motion picture, “Coco!”
